Application for Special Authorization to Stay for Non-resident Students (so-called Special Authorization to Stay for Students)
A.
Mainland students holding a "P.R.C. Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao" are required to make the application within the limit of stay (a maximum of 90 days) granted upon their first entry to Macao with "Type D – Stay" endorsement.
B.
Students from other countries/regions should make the application
before the expiry of
the expiry of the ‘Authorization to Stay’.
(2)
Students whose ID document or endorsement is expiring and so are not granted Special Authorization to Stay for Students that expires as stated can apply for ‘reposition’ after they finish extending the expiry of the document.
(3)
Failure to make the application before the expiry of the Special Authorization to Stay for Non-resident Students may result in ‘overstaying’. Overstay cases will be processed according to the stipulations regarding overstay in the
Legal Regime of Immigration Control, Stay and Residence Authorization of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
