Question:
How can underage persons register for using Macao’s automated immigration clearance service? What documentation is required for registration?
Answer:
Eligible underage persons aged 7 to 17 (for Hong Kong Non-permanent residents they should be aged 11 to 17) are required to be accompanied by either parent or the guardian to personally sign up at the registration locations in Macao. During registrations they are required to present the original birth certificate and the identity document of either parent or the guardian (A valid document proving legal guardianship should be presented if the registrant is accompanied by the guardian.).

Hong Kong Permanent Residents aged 7 to 10 are required to present their Hong Kong SAR Passports for identity verification, given their identity cards do not include any photos.
