Question:

Which Macao residents are eligible to register for using Hong Kong’s automated immigration clearance service (aka e-Channel)?

Answer:

Macao residents that meet the following registration criteria can enroll to use the e-Channel service:

(1)	Individuals aged 7 or above and hold a valid Macao Permanent Resident Identity Card;
(2)	Individuals aged 11 or above, and hold a Macao Non-permanent Resident Identity Card and a Macao Visit Permit for Residents of the Macao SAR to the Hong Kong SAR. Both of these documents are valid for no less than one month.
