Macao residents or Hong Kong permanent residents holding a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (including non-Chinese citizens) should use that Permit—i.e. the Home Return Permit—when travelling from Macao to the Mainland through the Joint Inspection Automated Channels or One-stop Joint Services Lanes. When returning to Macao from the Mainland, they may use either the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (including non-Chinese citizens) or their Macao Resident Identity Card/Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card for immigration clearance.

※Important Notes:

(1)	Hong Kong non-permanent residents are not eligible at present.
(2)	Holders of a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (including non-Chinese citizens) whose document numbers begin with “H”, and who also hold a Macao Resident Identity Card, must complete document correlation registration in Macao.
