Are Hong Kong Permanent Residents aged 7 to 10 allowed to register for Macao’s automated immigration clearance service, if their identity cards do not include any photos?
Answer:
Hong Kong Residents that aged 7 to 10 holding Hong Kong Permanent Resident Identity Cards are required to be accompanied by either parent or the guardian for their registration of using Macao’s automated immigration clearance service. Such registration should be conducted in person and at the registration points in Macao. In addition, they are required to present their original birth certificate, Hong Kong SAR Passport, and the identity document of either parent or the guardian (A valid document proving legal guardianship should be presented if the registrant is accompanied by the guardian.).
