Persons who register at the above Hong Kong locations can use the Macao e-Channels 3 hours after registration. Persons who register at the designated checkpoints in Macao before going through entry clearance can use the e-Channels 15 minutes after registration. |

Hong Kong permanent residents aged 7 to 17, and Hong Kong non-permanent residents that aged 11 to 17 should be accompanied by either parent or a guardian to the registration locations in Macao to register in person. During registration, it is required to present the original of the registrant’s birth certificate and the identification document of the accompanying either parent or guardian (if accompanied by a guardian, a document of legal guardianship should also be presented). |

Note: The joint inspection automated channels at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Checkpoint, the Checkpoint of Macao Port Zone of Hengqin Port and the Qingmao Checkpoint are to be used by eligible persons only. If these eligible persons cannot use the joint inspection automated channels for certain reasons (e.g. damage of the chip embedded in their identity document, failure to have the biometics such as fingerprint or facial images compared, wheelchair user or oversize luggage), they can use the manual inspection channels. Likewise, children from the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao who are holders of the above documents but unable to use the joint inspection automated channels owing to age or height restrictions can also use the manual inspection channels. |
