To implement the requirements set out in the Overall Plan for the Construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, to create in the Cooperation Zone a living environment as ideal for living and working as that of Macao, and to better serve the people studying, working, starting a business and living in the Cooperation Zone, with the full support from the Commercial Services Bureau of Hengqin and the Public Security Forces Affairs Bureau of Macao, starting from 24 October , self-service kiosks of the Public Security Police Force are set up at the Cooperation Zone and provide services.
Multi-functional self-service kiosks of the Identification Services Bureau were put to use in the Cooperation Zone on 2 September 2024. Three services of the Public Security Police Force (including 1. application by Macao residents for certificate of personal movement record; 2. application by Macao residents for renewal on behalf of domestic helpers; and 3. enquiry by non-resident workers about validity of Authorization to Stay as Worker) were launched on their kiosks on the same day. As the self-service kiosks of the Public Security Police Force are put to use in the Cooperation Zone on 24 October, the Macao residents, non-resident students and non-resident workers there will be able to enjoy more self-services. The Public Security Police Force’s self-service kiosks provide five services, including: 1. renewal / validity update of Special Authorization to Stay for non-resident students; 2. collection of result by non-resident students regarding new application for Special Authorization to Stay; 3. renewal of Authorization to Stay as Worker; 4. enquiry about and printing of validity of Authorization to Stay by non-resident workers; and 5. printing of Slip of Authorization to Stay / Residence Authorization.

Macao Government Services 24-hour Self-service Centre
The Public Security Police Force’s self-service kiosks are installed at the Macao Government Services Self-service Corner (operating 24 hours a day) of the Government Services Centre at the Cooperation Zone and at the Macao Government Services 24-hour Self-service Centre at the Macao New Neighbourhood. This arrangement not only ensures that the relevant services are provided round-the-clock but also provides great convenience to the Macao residents, non-resident students and non-resident workers, allowing them to complete the relevant administrative procedures at Hengqin without returning to Macao. It is believed that this extension of services will further promote Hengqin-Macao integration, promote the construction of cross-border government services, provide more convenience to the target people and facilitate the Macao residents to better integrate into the life in Hengqin.
