If you do not change your travel document, or if you are a holder of the “PRC Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao” in electric card type with a working endorsement, the re-register procedure is not required. Otherwise, you are required to update your details in appointed locations* after granting the new travel document. Moreover, the authority for you to utilize the E-channel will be suspended in 7 days before your “Non-resident Workers Identification Card” expires, but will be reactivated since the following day of your “Non-resident Workers Identification Card” is renewed.
* Border Gate Checkpoint (Departure Office at Departure Hall), Qingmao Checkpoint (Departure Hall on 3/F – Departure Office), Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Checkpoint (Departure Office at Hong Kong-Macao Hall) (Hong Kong-Macao Arrival Hall on ground floor), Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal Checkpoint (Arrival Hall), Taipa Ferry Terminal Checkpoint (Arrival Hall), Airport Checkpoint (Arrival Hall), Checkpoint of Macao Port Zone of Hengqin Port (Arrival Hall – Visa Office) and Immigration Building of the Public Security Police Force at Pac On.
