Question:
Will non-residents in possession of an “Entry Permit” definitely be allowed to enter Macao for work?
Answer:
After the amended Law on Employment of Non-resident Workers goes into effect, non-residents are still required to comply with the current immigration legal system upon entry to Macao. Therefore, it is possible that a non-resident holding an “Entry Permit” may be refused entry to Macao if he or she is under certain condition(s) prescribed by the law.
