Question:
Are non-skilled workers from the Mainland required to possess an “Entry Permit” and enter from a region outside the Macao SAR before they can be granted Temporary Authorization to Stay as Non-resident Worker?
Answer:
Yes, they are. Workers from the Mainland are required to possess a Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao and a Type D – Stay endorsement issued by the immigration control department on the Mainland, as well as an “Entry Permit” issued by the Public Security Police Force as proof that they are entering Macao for work purpose.They will be granted Temporary Authorization to Stay as Non-resident Worker at the Macao checkpoints.
