According to the actual situation, the interested person will have his/her Residence Authorization extended for the time required to complete the renewal procedure (Term 2, Article 36 of Administrative Regulation No. 38/2021). While waiting for the renewal examination result, the interested person granted extended Residence Authorization may continue to work in Macao. However, if no renewal is made within the time limit, the Residence Authorization will become invalid owing to its expiry, which in turn will result in its extinguishment. In this case, the interested person cannot work in Macao anymore. |
