Question:
If a Mainland resident goes to Macao with a Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao which contains a single-entry Endorsement to Macao, can he or she return to Macao after departing for Hong Kong from Macao?
Answer:
No. Mainland residents are required to possess a valid Endorsement to Hong Kong as well in order to depart for Hong Kong from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal Checkpoint, Taipa Ferry Terminal Checkpoint or Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Checkpoint. Please also note that admission to Hong Kong is subject to the entry requirements of the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
