Frequently Asked Questions > Immigration > Visit / Transit - Mainland Residents Holding a Permit for Mainland Residents to Travel to and from Taiwan

Question:
I travelled with my Permit for Mainland Residents to Travel to and from Taiwan (with a multiple-entry endorsement to the Region of Taiwan) from Shenzhen to Thailand via Hong Kong. Then I flew from Thailand to Macao, entering via the Macao International Airport. If I use the same travel document to enter Macao within 30 days from my last departure, will I be refused entry?
Answer:
If a holder of a Permit for Mainland Residents to Travel to and from Taiwan does not travel to and from the Region of Taiwan via the Macao International Airport, he or she does not meet the transit requirements and hence may be refused entry to Macao.
