Frequently Asked Questions > Immigration > Visit / Transit - Mainland Residents Holding a Permit for Mainland Residents to Travel to and from Taiwan

Question:
I came to Macao with my Exit-entry Permit for Mainland Residents to Travel to and from the Region of Taiwan in June and overstayed for 2 days. I paid the fine, but then I overstayed again for 3 days in July. I was notified that I am interdicted from entry to Macao. So when can I re-enter Macao?
Answer:
In the case of general repeated infraction of overstay, you will be admissible to Macao again after 1 year counting from the date of your last departure. However, if you have overstayed for over a year, the length of entry interdiction will be the same as your overstay period.
