Question:
I used my Permit for Mainland Residents to Travel to and from Taiwan to transit Macao and was granted a limit of stay of 7 days. However, I overstayed for 2 days because of illness. I did fly to the Region of Taiwan immediately after paying the fine. Can I transit Macao again by flying from the Region of Taiwan? How long can I stay?
Answer:
Generally, if you overstayed only once and proceeded to the Region of Taiwan in accordance with the transit stipulation after paying the fine promptly, you would be admitted to Macao again by taking a flight from the Region of Taiwan and be granted a maximum limit of stay of 7 days.
