Question:
Can a PRC passport holder who also has documents such as a residence permit, work visa, student visa of another country enter Macao? How can he or she apply for a longer limit of stay?
Answer:
All visitors entering Macao with a PRC passport are required to comply with the transit stipulation (see Question 32 for reference). If they possess a valid residence permit, work visa, student visa of other countries or regions, they are exempt from getting an entry visa to Macao. Generally, they will be granted a limit of stay of 7 days per entry. If there is any special condition or appropriate reason, the visitors can apply for extension of stay in Macao by submitting the concrete reason and the relevant documents to the Stay Subdivision of our Residence and Stay Affairs Department in person during office hours.
