Currently, visitors holding a PRC passport are required to ensure that their passport is valid for at least 90 days plus the period of their intended stay in the Macao Special Administrative Region from the date of entry (e.g. if a PRC passport holder transits and stays in Macao for 7 days, his or her passport should have at least 97 days of validity remaining from the date of his or her entry). Besides, they should possess a valid entry visa of another country and a transportation document (e.g. air ticket with confirmed date of flight and seat) that is to be used at the Macao International Airport for proceeding to or return from a foreign country in order to be granted entry to Macao on transit basis. The maximum limit of stay is 7 days. If a PRC passport holder does not possess the relevant documents, our staff will refuse his or her entry according to the law on the grounds that he or she does not meet the transit requirements. |
