Answer:
When scanning their faces at the camera of the first gate of the “joint inspection automated channels”, passengers must remove sunglasses, masks, and hats, in order to enable successful facial reading by the clearance system. During clearance, passengers must carry the physical clearance identity document, should it be required for inspection by the frontier inspection officers.
