If a passenger has tapped “Disagree” at the first gate of the joint inspection automated channels for three times as response to the declaration of registration for Smart Immigration Clearance, the prompt containing the declaration will not appear again when the passenger passes through for the fourth time. If the passenger wants to register for the service afterwards, he or she is required to visit a designated service location of the Public Security Police Force to apply for registration. Then at the automated channel, the passenger should tap “Agree” when the declaration is displayed on the screen. This allows the frontier inspection authorities of Macao and Mainland to keep a record.
