When passing through the “joint inspection automated channels” installed at the Hengqin Port, passengers who have registered for the “Smart Immigration Clearance” (Document-free Immigration Clearance) are required to position their face within the view of the screen’s camera at the first gate, and the equipment will automatically capture their facial data. The first gate will open after successful verification. After passing through the first gate, passengers proceed with the current immigration clearance procedure, and their facial data and fingerprint will be collected at the second gate. After the verification procedure is completed there, passengers can pass through the second and third gate and the clearance procedures for both locations are completed.
