How to choose between “face scan” and “card scan” at a channel where Smart Immigration Clearance service is provided?
Answer:
Both “face scan” and “card scan” functions are provided at Smart Immigration Clearance channels. In principle, “card scan” is given priority to satisfy the different needs of passengers and to enhance flexibility. If a physical identity document is detected first, the “card scan” clearance mode will be switched on. If a recorded facial image is identified first, the “face scan” clearance mode will be activated.
