If passengers do not wish to register their iris biometrics when using the “iris automated channels” for immigration clearance, upon completion of fingerprint verification, the system will prompt the passenger to confirm whether they consent to the registration of their iris biometrics. At this point, passenger may select “Disagree” on the screen, upon which immigration clearance will be completed and the gate will open. Passengers may also take note of the light box indications upon entering the automated channels.
