“Iris automated channels” installed at the ports are available for immigration clearance. Additionally, channels marked with “Self-registration of Iris Biometrics” are equipped with the function of self-registration of iris biometrics. Individuals who have registered their iris biometrics for immigration clearance may select any of the aforesaid “iris automated channels” to complete clearance via iris verification in lieu of fingerprint verification. On the other hand, passengers who have not yet registered but intend to use the service may proceed to the iris automated channels labelled with “Self registration of Iris Biometrics” to complete iris biometrics registration and immigration clearance simultaneously. |
