Immigration clearance can be conducted at any “iris automated channel” installed at the ports. Channels marked with the words “Self-registration of Iris Biometrics” provide self-registration service as well. Passengers who have completed registration of their iris biometrics for immigration clearance may choose any “iris automated channel” for clearance by scanning their iris instead of their fingerprint. As for passengers who have not registered but intend to use the service, they can use the channels of “Self-registration of Iris Biometrics” for one-stop service of registering their iris biometrics as well as going through clearance formalities. |
