Frequently Asked Questions > Immigration > Using Iris Recognition for Immigration Clearance

Question:
I am a minor. Am I eligible to register for iris automated immigration clearance?
Answer:
Eligible individuals aged between 7 and 17 who meet the requirements for iris automated clearance must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and proceed to the designated locations within the specified hours to register their iris biometrics. The registrant and the accompanying person are required to present their respective identity documents, as well as proof of relationship (e.g. birth certificate; Macao residents may present proof of the parent-child binding record available in the parent’s Macao One Account app).
