Frequently Asked Questions > Immigration > Using Iris Recognition for Immigration Clearance

Question:
I am driving to Macao from Hong Kong. Can I use iris automated clearance for immigration?
Answer:
At present, “iris automated channels” are installed exclusively at the Hong Kong-Macao Passenger Inspection Hall of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Checkpoint. Drivers under the Macao PnR Scheme (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Macao Port Park-and-Ride Scheme) may park their vehicles at the East Car Park of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge at the Macao Port, and walk to this Inspection Hall to undergo arrival immigration clearance via iris automated channels.
