Where can Hong Kong permanent residents register for using the Macao automated immigration clearance service?
Answer:
1.
Hong Kong residents aged 18 or above and holding a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card or a Hong Kong Identity Card bearing ‘***’ or ‘R’ symbol can register at the following locations:

  Arrival and Departure Inspection Halls, Macao Ferry Terminal Control Point (self-service kiosk)  
  24 hours – open to public depending on the ferry schedule  
  Departure Inspection Hall, China Ferry Terminal Control Point (self-service kiosk)  
  7:00 to 24:00 – open to public depending on the ferry schedule  
  Arrival and Departure Inspection Halls, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Control Point (self-service kiosk)  
  24 hours  
  Arrival and Departure Inspection Halls, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Control Point  
  6:00 to 23:00 – open to public depending on the ferry schedule  
  All Registration of Persons Offices  
  Depending on the arrangement of each office

Hong Kong residents aged 11 – 17 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the registration locations in Macao for registration and present the original of the enrollee’s birth certificate and the identification document of the accompanying parent or guardian (if accompanied by a guardian, a document of legal relationship should also be presented).
