Question:
If my fingerprints do not work when I use “My border crossing” for automated immigration clearance, am I required to present my physical Resident Identity Card to a police constable?
Answer:
Under the above circumstances, a Macao resident can tap “View electronic identity” below the “My border crossing” QR code and present the screen to the police constable, or present his/her physical Resident Identity Card for identity verification. He/She will be able to pass through immigration control upon verification.
