Question:
What to do if I do not have my physical Resident Identity Card with me, my mobile device is also out of order and I cannot present the “My border crossing” QR code for immigration clearance?
Answer:
Under the above circumstances, a Macao resident should get back his/her physical Resident Identity Card on his/her own or through others before crossing the border. If a Macao resident has lost his/her Resident Identity Card in Macao, he/she should apply for a replacement of his/her Resident Identity Card before departure. If he/she has lost his/her Resident Identity Card outside Macao, he/she can attend the arrival office at the checkpoint when entering Macao to have his/her identity verified for arrival clearance.
