Question:
Who are not eligible to use the Qingmao Port?
Answer:
>
Mainland residents who are holding an e-Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao or an e-Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao for Official Purposes, e.g. Chinese passport, etc.;
>
Macao residents holding a document other than the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (including non-Chinese Citizens) and the Macao Resident Identity Card, e.g. passport, one-off exit-entry permit, etc.;
>
Hong Kong residents holding a document other than the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (including non-Chinese Citizens) and the Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card, e.g. passport, Re-entry Permit, Document of Identity for Visa Purposes, etc;
>
Taiwan residents;
>
Foreigners.
Besides, Mainland residents, Macao residents and Hong Kong residents who have not registered for the automated passenger clearance systems of the Mainland and of Macao are also not eligible to use the Qingmao Port (except for children from the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao who are not able to access the joint inspection automated channels owing to age and height restrictions), even though they are holding the specified documents.
