Inquiry should be made in written form to the Public Security Police Force:

1.	If the person concerned makes the inquiry, he or she is required to submit the original of the letter which carries his or her handwritten signature and is certified by the Public Notary Office, as well as a copy of his or her identification document;
2.	If the person concerned authorizes another person (e.g. a lawyer) to make the inquiry, the original of the notarized authorization letter and a copy of the identification documents of the person concerned and the authorized person should be submitted.
